West Wawanosh Mutual Insurance Company has an immediate opportunity for a full time Claims Adjuster to join our Team in Goderich, Ontario.

The right individual(s) will report to the Claims Manager and will be responsible for effectively investigating, evaluating and processing claims for West Wawanosh Mutual Policyholders in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Skills

Strong understanding of the P&C claims processes, interpretation of policy wordings and awareness of industry trends Strong negotiation skills Working knowledge of all relevant regulations, including the Insurance Act Effective communications and sound ethics to interact with all parties involved in the claim process, including internal team members and build those relationships Strong computer skills, time management and organizational skills Thorough research, analysis, judgment and problem solving skills Attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
Experience

College diploma or University degree in a related field CIP designation or a committed effort to working towards obtaining Three to five years adjusting experience A valid driver's license is required

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
