Summary

We are seeking a

Cladding Installer

to join our dynamic team at Weatherguard Metals Ltd. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the successful installation of our metal cladding, architectural panel and roofing systems. The

Cladding Installer

will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service and quality to our customers.

Responsibilities

Measuring, Marking, Cutting, and Installing various metal products. Operating power tools including, drills, shears and grinders Unloading panels and handling material Operating Aerial Platform and/or Telehandler (if applicable) Participating in safety meetings and proper housekeeping Assessing proper loads on trailers

Requirements

Prior experience in building envelopes from substrate membranes, girts, insulation to final exterior completion. Knowledge of power tools, hand tools, etc. Ability to take accurate measurements Ability to work at heights in manlifts, scaffolds, roofs etc Ability to stand for long hours while completing repetitive tasks Ability to be punctual, reliable, and follow instructions Ability to have reliable transportation to and from the workplace. Ability to work extended hours (8-10hrs) as per job requirements Willingness to work outside of the Calgary metro area and/or the province on occasion. Possessing safety & operator certifications- Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform, WHMIS, Telehandler operation, First Aid, are a major asset Proven commitment to safety, including wearing proper PPE at all times. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Must speak, read, and write fluent English

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (Day Shift) 8-10 hour shifts depending on workload Overtime pay after 8 hours Weekends as needed
