Description of Services

Candidate will apply their accounting skills to full cycle accounting and financial reporting, including developing and executing month end processes, financial analysis, dashboards and external/internal reporting.

Duties will include but not limited to:

\xc2\xb7Prepare non-complex journal entries.

\xc2\xb7Assist in preparation of month end reporting, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations.

\xc2\xb7Assist in budget preparation.

\xc2\xb7Support variance analysis and investigate abnormalities.

\xc2\xb7Assists routine duties and preparation of working papers and financial statements.

\xc2\xb7Review and analyze accruals.

\xc2\xb7Identify and implement process improvements.

\xc2\xb7Analyze and interpret financial information.

\xc2\xb7Work with business entities to gather and disseminate information for budgeting and forecasting purposes.

\xc2\xb7Reconcile and prepare GST/HST.

\xc2\xb7Update department financial policies and procedures.

\xc2\xb7Other duties as required.
