Job Description

The Civil Project Manager will oversee the planning, management, and execution of construction projects within the Civil industry. This position in Calgary requires excellent organizational skills and a keen understanding of construction processes to deliver projects on time and within budget.

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all project stages.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and clients.
  • Lead and mentor project teams to achieve desired outcomes effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure project success.

A successful Civil Project Manager should have:
  • A degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing Waste/Wastewater treatment plant & Bridge construction projects within the Civil construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and their application in construction projects.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Strong communication, eager go-getter attitude.
  • Experience from the beginning of the project to the end.
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
