The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and diligent Civil Litigation Lawyer. This is an exceptional opportunity for a lawyer who is driven, detail-oriented, and ready to take on substantial responsibility within a supportive, high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage a diverse civil litigation files, which may include class action litigation and commercial disputes. Conduct aspects of the litigation process, including drafting pleadings, managing undertakings, conducting examinations for discovery, and bringing and responding to motions. Communicate effectively and regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders. Skillfully negotiate settlements to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. Prepare for and attend mediations, pre-trial conferences, and trials. Demonstrate a strong work ethic to effectively manage his or her caseload while upholding the highest standards of quality.

The Ideal Candidate

You are the ideal candidate for this role because you possess:

Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Saskatchewan. A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing civil litigation is preferred. A track record of successfully managing a busy caseload and moving files forward efficiently. Superior organizational and time-management skills; you are someone who thrives on structure and process. A strong work ethic and the resilience to excel in a fast-paced practice area. A deep-seated passion for the law and a commitment to strategic, results-driven advocacy.
