Civil Infrastructure Engineering Project Lead
to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects, collaborate with government agencies, and engage directly with clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Oversee and coordinate the design and development of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Government Coordination:
Work with municipal, provincial, and federal agencies to navigate regulatory requirements and secure project approvals.
Client Engagement:
Act as a key point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and addressing project-related concerns.
Design Oversight:
Assist in managing project design, collaborating with engineers, designers, and technical teams to ensure optimal solutions.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including planners, environmental specialists, and construction professionals.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure projects adhere to local bylaws, industry standards, and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
A
University Degree
in Civil Engineering (from a recognized University engineering program) or an equivalent degree program.
P.Eng. designation
(or eligibility for registration) is preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years
of civil engineering work experience (preferably in Ontario, Canada)
Proven experience in
civil infrastructure project management
, ideally within a consulting firm or Municipality.
Excellent
communication and leadership skills
, with the ability to interact effectively with government officials, clients, and stakeholders.
Strong
technical knowledge
of municipal infrastructure, roadways, stormwater management, and utilities.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, Microsoft Office
, or other relevant engineering software is an asset.
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project and construction sites as needed.
