Civil 3D Drafter \xe2\x80\x93 Experienced Civil/Environmental Engineering Drafting Technologist ParklandGEO Ltd. is an energetic team of professionals that work closely together to achieve excellence. The Opportunity Working closely with various engineering and environmental groups, you will fill the needs in providing engineering design and drafting services. Responsibilities

• Create cross section profiles using Civil 3D
• Create excavations, berms and slopes with grading functions using Civil 3D
• Calculate earth structure and various material volumes using Civil 3D
• Read, interpret, and utilize topographic survey data, survey field notes, and engineering designs
• Design advanced/complex 3D slope models to assist engineers with analysis of proposed designs
• Calculate advanced surface characteristics and apply results to design, identifying potential issues with the surface and proposing solutions
• Using pre-established design criteria, interpret survey data and model designs, and recommend model changes for optimization
• Create drawings independently using field notes/client information
• Prepare proposal, reports, and presentations using existing drawings and field notes
• Be responsible for product quality control with adherence to company standards and procedures
• Complete assignments in a timely manner meeting project deadlines
• Be an independent analytical thinker, anticipate, troubleshoot, and solve problems as they arise

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in Civil, Environmental, or Drafting Technology, or equivalent education and experience.
• 2+ years experience in Civil/Environmental engineering design
• Highly skilled in drafting with proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Demonstrates exceptional ability to efficiently manage project drafting requirements while effectively prioritizing tasks.
• Adaptability when working under pressure, consistently meeting demanding deadlines with outstanding results.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Great attitude and work ethic
