Blundon's Trucking and Excavating Ltd. is seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist immediately.

This will be a full-time position on the Valentine Gold Mine

Schedule: Rotational shift

Qualifications & Abilities

Civil Engineering Techology Diploma

Minimum of 3-5 years of heavy civil earthworks construction experience on major projects sites

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills

A willingness to work extended hours and rotational schedules

A proactive mindset and commitment to safety, quality, and collaboration

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Accuracy and attention to detail

Time management, multitasking and flexibility

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with managers, project managers and field supervisors in a fast-paced environment.

Valid Class 5 Drivers License

Current Drivers and Criminal record check abstract required

Medical and Drug/Alcohol Test Required

Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct technical inspections and investigations of topography, drainage systems, roadways, and structures to support design and construction planning.

Assist project managers with various deliverables, including progress tracking, cost tracking, technical documentation, and data analysis.

Document and verify as-built conditions to ensure construction compliance with design specifications.

Prepare and submit detailed daily field reports summarizing activities, observations, and progress.

Comply with all safety policies and procedures

Processing timesheets, job reports, purchase orders, and tracking records

Supporting contract management, change controls, and weekly reporting

Coordinating subcontractors and managing documentation systems

Facilitating communications between site staff, vendors, and head office
