Invistec's Team continues to grow! Invistec's Calgary Office is currently seeking to fill a

Junior Design Draftsperson

role. This person will be part of a high-paced, energetic, and collaborative team working on a variety of residential and commercial land development projects. This position requires a motivated and enthusiastic team player who is able to take initiative, work in a team environment, and also work independently. This position may include some evening work and occasional travel.

Responsibilities

Provide design support for various projects including municipal engineering, site grading, storm, sanitary and road designs. Prepare Drawings for DP/DSSP submission Prepare Subdivision Design Drawings Assist in preparation of Opinion of Probable Costs (OPC's) Assist in preparation of tenders and contract documents. Preparation of plan of record drawings Work with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets and quality control standards are achieved and maintained.

The Successful Candidate will Possess the Following:

A graduate of a

Civil Engineering Technology program

. Proficiency in AutoCad and Civil 3d is Mandatory Strong organizational and time-management skills. The ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. A self-starter attitude and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting. Construction site experience is an asset. Strong English written and verbal communication skills in dealing with clients, contractors and municipals. Valid class 5 driver's license with clean abstract.

Pay: $52,194.64-$80,000.00 per year
