Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, along with proficiency in various engineering software and tools.

Duties

Design and develop civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems. Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation for drafting and design purposes. Conduct construction estimating to prepare accurate project budgets. Perform project management tasks to ensure timely completion of projects within scope. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create schematics and system designs. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with construction standards and regulations. Utilize GIS and ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis related to project planning. Apply HEC methodologies for hydraulic modeling as required by specific projects. Engage in drafting detailed plans and specifications for construction projects. Employ Mathcad for complex calculations necessary for project design.

Experience

Candidates should possess a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience in the following areas is preferred:

Proficiency in Bluebeam for document management and collaboration. Familiarity with construction inspection processes to ensure quality control on-site. Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles as they relate to civil projects. Demonstrated ability in project management and teamwork within a fast-paced environment.
