About the Opportunity

Bridge-Us Solutions is partnering with a well-established and growing multidisciplined heavy civil contractor, to recruit an experienced Senior Civil Engineer (P.Eng). This is a senior-level opportunity for a highly capable professional who enjoys autonomy, takes initiative, and thinks beyond day-to-day project delivery.

The successful candidate will bring 10-15+ years of civil engineering experience, ideally with exposure in civil infrastructure, site work, streets, demolitions and underground pipework. Experience across all areas is considered an asset; however, candidates with strong depth in one core discipline are encouraged to apply.

This role is well suited to a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who is interested in contributing to business growth, project profitability, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects

Preparing accurate estimates from drawing and specifications

Following budgets and schedules

Play a key role in maintaining safety compliance on job sites

Provide senior technical oversight from concept through construction

Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, municipalities, and external stakeholders

Review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and reports for accuracy and compliance

Monitor project budgets, schedules, risks, and performance

Contribute to project profitability and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies

Ensure compliance with provincial, municipal, and industry regulations

Support strategic planning, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience

Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng) in New Brunswick (must be in good standing or eligible for immediate registration)

10-15+ years of civil engineering experience

Proven ability to work independently and manage complex projects

Strong commercial awareness and interest in contributing to project profitability

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance

Proficiency with engineering design and project management software
