This role is responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of municipal and land development infrastructure projects, including roads, water distribution systems, sanitary and storm sewers, stormwater management, and site servicing. Pay Rate: $90,000 - $120,000 + bonus/year

Responsibilities:
Lead the development of civil engineering design documents to support Official Plan Amendment (OPA), Zoning By-Law Amendment (ZBA), and Site Plan Approval (SPA) applications, ensuring compliance with engineering principles, municipal standards, and applicable codes and regulations
Perform and oversee civil design and analysis for a variety of industrial, commercial, institutional (ICI), and residential site development projects, including storm and sanitary sewer design, site grading, water distribution, and stormwater management (SWM) modeling
Review Functional Servicing Reports (FSRs) and Stormwater Management Reports for accuracy, completeness, and technical quality
Analyze project data to identify viable and effective design solutions
Collaborate with Project Managers, junior designers, CAD technicians, clients, and other consultants to ensure designs align with project scope and objectives
Take responsibility for reviewing and professionally sealing design documents prepared by yourself and others
Address and respond to comments from reviewing agencies related to civil submissions for OPA, ZBA, and SPA applications
Actively participate in internal and external project meetings, ensuring alignment and coordination across all project stakeholders
Perform other related duties as required to support project success and team objectives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Applied Science, or a related discipline
4-10 years of relevant professional experience in civil engineering
Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
In-depth understanding of civil engineering principles, design practices, and applicable standards
Strong technical writing skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Highly organized with effective time management and prioritization skills
Proven problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Hands-on experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling tools, such as MIDUSS NET, SWMHYMO, VO OTTHYMO, FlowMaster, and HEC-RAS
Familiar with the municipal approvals process in Southwestern Ontario, including OPA, ZBA, and SPA
Knowledge of project management principles and best practices
Working familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D for infrastructure design
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
