Civil Engineer

We are looking to add a capable and qualified Civil Engineer to our team for a permanent full?time position. Tryon Engineering Inc.'s Geotechnical Engineering team works to provide services to residents, local governments, and industrial clients throughout Western Canada.

Tryon's dedicated and dynamic team of Professionals has over 60 years of combined experience working on municipal development, industrial construction, and residential projects.

If you are interested in:

Working with engineering team members to plan and design civil projects. Preparing detailed design and as?built plans using AutoCAD and Civil3D. Developing construction specifications and quantity calculations. Performing construction inspections as needed. Working with approving authorities, land developers, surveyors, and other design professionals to develop sites. Preparing technical reports as needed. Providing project management services including, preparing contract documents, evaluating tenders, and project scheduling. Supervise certified concrete and aggregate laboratory. Overseeing teams of 1 to 5 people.
And you have the following qualifications, experiences and skills:

Degree in Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline. Registered as a Professional Engineer by a provincial or territorial association or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer by a provincial or territorial association. Nuclear instrument experience. Laboratory and soil analysis experience. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of Canadian building and fire codes. Strong computer skills including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office, and data analysis software. Strong technical and report?writing skills. Detail oriented and organized. Class 5 Driver's License in good standing.

Pay: $130,000.00-$165,000.00 per year
