Civil Engineer: ACM Designer and Drafter.

NOTE: THIS POSITION IS A FULL TIME CAREER PATH AND OFFICE WORK IS REQUIRED. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE OR CONTRACT POSITION.

STRONG ENGLISH VERBAL AND WRITTEN SKILLS ARE REQUIRED

There are 5 primary requirements for this position

that all potential candidates must possess:

Civil Engineering background Strong written and mathematical skills Strong drafting skills in AutoCAD Valid Ontario drivers license Ontario construction field experience.
The ideal candidate is required to possess the following qualifications:

Significant experience in construction drawing understanding including cross sections and preferably for the building exterior Expertise in accounting for wastage % based on material sizes Capable of taking accurate measurements from construction sites both manually and using assisted-measuring devices High expertise in CAD drafting techniques and AutoCAD Strong proficiency in geometric dimensioning procedures Excellent knowledge of drafting standards Outstanding proficiency with MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD Familiar with and experienced in applying architectural design concepts Experienced in modelling and using modelling software Sound ability to calculate tolerances on assembled components Superior oral and written communication skills Familiarity with cladding projects and construction materials is an asset

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
