Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and drafting civil engineering projects, including roadways, drainage systems, and site plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for innovative design solutions that meet both client needs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed civil engineering designs and plans using CAD software. Prepare Site Servicing Plan, Land Development Plans, Water, Sanitary and Stormwater connection and sizing. Prepare Subdivision Plans, Rezoning Application and Drawings, Erosion & Sediment Control Plans. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives. Prepare construction documents, including specifications, drawings, and reports. Conduct site assessments to gather data for design projects. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout the design process. Review and revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders. Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations for clients. Maintain organized records of all design work and project documentation.

Requirements

Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent. AScT preferred. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD & Civil 3D) is essential. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in civil engineering. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Previous experience in civil design or internships in related fields is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
