Our client is a seeking a Civil Design Engineer - Land Development to join their team in their Calgary office. They are looking for dynamic individuals that are committed to high-quality professional work, meeting the needs of our clients, and working with our multi-disciplinary team to create vibrant and livable communities.

About the role:

As a Civil Design Engineer - Land Development, your primary role will be to work with the VP of Civil Engineering and the rest of the team to successfully deliver projects to clients in the land development and municipal industries. Our hybrid work environment allows us to have some workdays at the office and some at home on a weekly basis.

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Successful completion of a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University.

\xc2\xb7 5 plus years of experience in engineering discipline, specifically in municipal and land development.

\xc2\xb7 Must be a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Civil 3D software.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in Stormwater Management design is an asset.

\xc2\xb7 Strong presentation, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

\xc2\xb7 Strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Work with VP of Civil Engineering, project managers, project engineers and drafting technicians to successfully deliver quality projects on-time and on-budget for a variety of land development and municipal projects.

\xc2\xb7 Design of various municipal and land development projects.

\xc2\xb7 Review technical drawings, details, and specifications to ensure quality and oversight.

\xc2\xb7 Supervise junior engineers and technologists.

\xc2\xb7 Assist with preparing proposals.

\xc2\xb7 Develop relationships for partnering with other firms.
