Position Overview
We are seeking a
City Sales Representative
to join our growing team in
Calgary, Alberta
.
The ideal candidate will have
experience in the drilling industry
--specifically within
directional drilling, MWD, or rig operations
--and a strong understanding of drilling programs, rig scheduling, and well planning.
This position will play a key role in expanding Arrival's customer relationships throughout Western Canada. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for operators, engineers, and procurement teams, ensuring Arrival's tools are strategically positioned in upcoming wells.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow customer accounts within the Calgary region and surrounding areas.
Build strong relationships with drilling engineers, managers, and field personnel.
Monitor customer drilling programs, rig schedules, and upcoming well activity.
Identify new business opportunities and provide technical and commercial updates.
Coordinate with field representatives and shop operations to ensure alignment between customer requirements and tool availability.
Participate in weekly sales meetings and maintain accurate forecasting data in Arrival's Sales Flash system.
Complete field visits and customer site meetings quarterly (5-day rotations).
Maintain regular reporting (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) to support sales planning and performance tracking.
Qualifications
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in
oilfield sales, directional drilling, MWD/LWD, or rig operations
.
Strong knowledge of drilling programs, rig schedules, and wellbore dynamics.
Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing multiple customer accounts.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Alberta and Western Canada.
