Position: City Driver Class 1 (Night Shunt)

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a

Tractor Driver

who will be responsible for picking up and delivering freight/loads in a timely and safe and secure manner. This role reports to the Terminal Manager. The incumbent takes charge of the entire loading/picking/delivering/completing paperwork process to ensure all orders are complete and meet appointment times.

Responsibilities:

Loading the outbound truck

Yard shunting and deliveries

Maintains process management, and paperwork

Use ELD

Get customer signature on a tablet app at time of pickup and delivery

Ensures compliance with all appropriate policies, best practices and safety rules

Willing to work occasional extended hours as required and able to handle up to 50 pound boxes

Other duties as required

Qualifications & Key Competencies:

Class 1 Drivers Licence

Experience in a similar role for 2 years desirable

Highway experience is an asset for the occasional highway trip

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Good analytical and mathematical skills

Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

Ability to meet urgent deadlines

Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently

Hours and Location:

Sunday to Thursday: 20:00 - 4:30

Terminal Location: Calgary, AB

Remuneration:

$27.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
