Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 City Driver to join our team in Edmonton, AB. This position involves local pick-up and delivery within the city and surrounding areas, ensuring timely and professional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a Class 1 commercial vehicle for city deliveries and pickups.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

Load and unload freight, ensuring proper cargo securement and handling.

Maintain accurate logbooks, trip reports, and delivery documentation.

Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and interactions.

Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any delays or issues.

Follow all city traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid Class 1 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.

Minimum 3 years of Class 1 driving experience, preferably in city/local deliveries.

Strong knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas.

Ability to handle physical work, including loading/unloading when required.

Flexible availability

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
