CIRCULATION & CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE The Successful Investor Inc.
We are a growing wealth management and investment publishing firm with 25+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in subscription marketing and independent portfolio management with assets under management verging on $1 billion and growing. As we are transforming our business and experiencing significant growth, The Successful Investor is actively seeking a Circulation & Customer Service Associate who will provide top notch service to our customers and clients and provide key support to the Circulation department.
We are first and foremost seeking someone who is passionate about and enjoys helping people. Additionally, the role needs someone who is detail-oriented and well organized. Our ideal candidate will have a proven background in customer service, with strong database management, administrative and time management skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary phone contact for The Successful Investor (TSI) inbound and some outbound calls:
  • Responsible for solving customer queries and completing new orders/renewal/cancellation transactions from TSI subscribers in a timely and professional manner.
  • For the inbound wealth management calls received, handle the basic administrative task requests promptly and efficiently (i.e., cash calls; statements; password resets) and warm transfer the remaining calls to wealth management.
  • Order entry and fulfillment \xe2\x80\x93 including importing website orders into subscription management database.
  • Database management \xe2\x80\x93 create & update accounts; export data and generate reports for Circulation and other departments; run daily back-ups.
  • Prepare and distribute publications and product information (including pricing) to subscribers over the phone or email.
  • Ensure all renewal notices are run on schedule and fulfilled by mail.
  • Manage billing, outstanding payments and refunds.
  • Make soft upsell and save attempts to existing subscribers, with the potential to earn additional income.
  • Ensure all department equipment and systems are maintained in good working order.
  • Provide administrative support to Marketing and other areas as needed.

REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications, Experience & Skills):
  • Post Secondary College Diploma or University Degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service, client facing role.
  • 2 years of administrative office experience.
  • Solid Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Previous experience working in subscription business and/or with a CRM or subscription management database considered an asset. (Preferred)
  • Professional demeanor - as first point of contact with all clients and visitors, a professional appearance and attitude is of utmost importance in this role.
  • Excellent Customer service skills and phone etiquette.
  • Logically minded with the ability to think outside of the box and troubleshoot for first point resolution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail mindset.
  • Quick learner and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to work efficiently on multiple tasks and follow a daily schedule.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and a team player.

Located near Yonge St. and Sheppard Ave. in North York, Toronto.
