Key Responsibilities

Assist to prepare and dispense drugs Assess new and repeat prescriptions Support pharmacists in patient counseling and education Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements Document and maintain accurate records Promote healthy living and immunization programs Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones and managing paperwork Communicate with customers and other healthcare professionals Provide customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and processing transactions

Education & Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or equivalent Pharmacy Assistant certificate is considered an asset

Experience & Skills

Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Clear communication and interpersonal abilities Proven experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a related role Knowledge of pharmacy operations and medications is an asset Experience with Kroll software is an asset Ability to adhere to regulatory compliance Experience in pharmacy management and leadership is an asset
