Duties

Prepare and craft a variety of chocolates, truffles, and confections with attention to detail and presentation Handle food safely, adhering to all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Assist with food preparation tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment, including measuring, mixing, and packaging products Ensure all products meet quality standards before packaging for sale or display Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment sanitation and storage Package finished products carefully for retail or wholesale distribution, ensuring product integrity during transport Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing products based on customer feedback

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery environment is highly desirable Skilled in food preparation, baking, and cooking techniques Knowledge of the food industry standards for food safety and food handling practices Experience with kitchen operations, including cleaning, packaging, and maintaining hygiene standards Strong customer service skills to engage with clients or retail customers when needed Familiarity with the use of kitchen tools and equipment specific to chocolate making and confectionery production
