Pastry Assistant
to support our production team. This is an
entry-level position
, ideal for someone sharp, reliable, and genuinely excited about desserts and hospitality.
In this role, you'll assist with production prep, maintain kitchen organization, and occasionally support front-of-house operations when needed. You'll be surrounded by talented people, quality ingredients, and a strong sense of purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with precise measuring, mixing, and preparation of pastry and chocolate components
Prep fresh toppings, fillings, and garnishes with attention to detail
Keep workstations clean, organized, and efficient throughout the day
Wash, sanitize, and maintain kitchen equipment and tools
Support packing and presentation of finished products
Maintain ingredient inventory and proper labeling
Occasionally assist customers--answering questions, offering product knowledge, or preparing takeout orders
Work collaboratively with the pastry team to keep daily operations smooth and focused
What We're Looking For:
Minimum English level B2
Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
Passion for mindful, healthy, and ethically responsible organic foods
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Genuine interest in pastry, chocolate, and culinary craft
Solid work ethic, punctuality, and a sense of pride in doing things well
Ability to stay calm, clean, and efficient in a fast-moving kitchen
Physically capable of standing for long hours and lifting up to 25 lbs
Open and friendly communication skills, including with customers when needed
Flexible with scheduling -- including weekends, holidays, or early shifts
A team-first mindset: willing to support wherever needed without ego
