Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot health and identify any issues or concerns. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on pain management and overall foot health. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses to treatments. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care, including referrals for home care or specialized services when necessary. Engage in ongoing research to stay current with advancements in chiropody and related fields. Educate patients on proper foot care techniques, preventive measures, and the importance of regular check-ups. Participate in data collection for quality improvement initiatives within the practice.

Skills

Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of medical terminology relevant to chiropody. Experience working in a medical office setting, with familiarity in using electronic health record systems like Epic or Cerner. Knowledge of pediatrics is a plus, as well as experience in pain management strategies for various foot conditions. Strong analytical skills for effective data collection and interpretation related to patient outcomes. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members alike. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on holistic patient care.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $80.00-$120.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
