Summer Chinese Montessori Teacher - Cantonese & Mandarin

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic

full-time Chinese Teacher

to teach

Mandarin and/or Cantonese

during

July and August

(Monday to Friday). This role is located at our Markham campus and offers an opportunity to continue into the fall semester starting in September.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging language lessons in

Mandarin and/or Cantonese

to children aged

2.5 to 6 years

Lead class activities including singing songs, reading stories, and introducing foundational Chinese vocabulary Foster a fun, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment

Qualifications & Skills

Previous teaching experience is required

Fluent in

Mandarin and/or Cantonese

Passionate about working with young children and helping them learn through play and exploration Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in a Montessori setting is a strong asset Valid

Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification

Vulnerable Sector Check

(required upon hire) Up-to-date

health and immunization records

, including 2-step TB test, Tetanus, and MMR
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
