We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chinese Content Editor / Lifestyle Journalist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong editorial background and proficiency in both English and Chinese.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and write compelling lifestyle articles covering food, travel, deals, entertainment, and local events.
Conduct interviews and attend events, gathering first-hand information for exclusive reports.
Host and present on-camera content for interviews, event coverage, and digital media segments.
Develop creative and engaging content ideas tailored to audience interests.
Edit and proofread articles to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to editorial standards.
Manage and optimize content across multiple platforms, including social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
Assist in video production, including basic filming and editing, to create multimedia content.Write engaging and high-quality content for various Chinese publications, including articles, blog posts, and promotional material
Edit and proofread manuscripts, articles, and other content in Chinese to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Collaborate with authors and other editorial staff to refine content and ensure adherence to editorial guidelines.
Conduct interviews and gather information to write content.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Ensure all content meets the company's quality standards and style guidelines.
Key Requirements:
Language Proficiency:
Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Media Experience:
Background in journalism, content creation, broadcasting, or public relations is an asset.
Passion for Lifestyle Topics:
Enthusiastic about food, travel, and deals, with knowledge of local trends.
Personal Traits:
Outgoing, confident, and engaging on-camera; strong research and storytelling abilities.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with video production, including shooting and basic editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere, CapCut), is a plus.
Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for event coverage and interviews.
