For further information, visitSUMMARYWe are looking to hire a Certified Chiller Mechanic (313A) to join our team!Responsibilities:

• Service calls on commercial, industrial and institutional Chiller equipment specializing in Chillers and Cooling Towers
• Perform work on Centrifugal, Screw, and Scrolls compressors with York, Daikin, Trane, Carrier, Smardt, Arctic Cool, Tandem, and Multistack Chillers.
• Cnduct overhaul on Chillers, Daily Chiller inspections, troubleshooting, diagnosing any repairs needed. Perform annual maintenance on Chillers, inspections of Chiller equipment.
• Keep current with ongoing changes and new technology and adapt accordingly.
• Read, interpret, create and maintain drawings and specifications.
• Install air conditioning, heating, and related equipment and components.
• Overhaul and service air conditioning, heating units and systems.
• Repair, replace and adjust worn or broken parts on condensers, compressors, and water and vacuum pumps.
• Repair and adjust valves, piping connections, fittings, and couplings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with heating and air conditioning units and systems.
• Install motors, thermostats, and humidistats.
• Correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance
• Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned apprentices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.
• Interpret company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
• Adhere to the Company\'s Quality System operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
• Provides support and backup for other administrative duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• Trade license 313A is required with Three (5) years plus experience in service and maintenance of Chiller systems
• Some specialization certification in specific chilling equipment is a must. Some examples of these are Carrier19XR/23XRV Overhaul Certification, York YK/YT Tear Down Certification, Trane CenTraVac, Trane RTAF, Carrier 30 series, Smardt Chiller certification, and/or Daiken Centrifugal certification.
• Gas 1 or Gas 2 certification is an asset
• Possess a valid "full G" Ontario driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
