Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Yoga Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching yoga, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all levels. Bilingual abilities, especially in English and French, are highly valued to better serve our diverse clientele.

Duties

Lead engaging and safe yoga classes tailored to different skill levels and age groups Demonstrate proper techniques and postures, providing clear instructions and modifications as needed Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participant engagement Educate students on yoga philosophy, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices Monitor class participants' progress and provide personalized guidance when appropriate Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yoga studio before and after classes Schedule classes, manage class bookings, and communicate with clients regarding class times or special events Uphold safety standards by ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to health guidelines Promote upcoming classes, workshops, or wellness events through effective communication channels

Experience

Proven experience teaching yoga in a professional setting, with certification from a recognized yoga training program preferred Strong command of English; bilingual proficiency in French is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct diverse groups of students Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during class sessions Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate students and foster a positive environment Prior experience in customer service is advantageous for engaging with clients and addressing their needs effectively
