Job Description

BGC Niagara is seeking candidates to carry out the duties of Specialty Staff at the Niagara Falls Centre (8800 McLeod Rd., Niagara Falls) and EJ Freeland Community Centre (1555 Garrison Rd., Fort Erie).

The Specialty Worker is responsible for the delivery of the programs and services at the assigned BGC Niagara location(s). The position is accountable to the Aquatics, Recreation and Community Programs Supervisor/Manager.

$20.00/hour Evenings, Saturdays part-time, 4 - 8 hours per week Vulnerable Sector Check that is obtained within the last 6 months Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Must provide immunization records Current Food Handlers certification HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development (can obtain after hire) Experience working directly with children and/or delivering children's programming
Deliverables include, but are not limited to, the following:

Provide safe, effective and efficient delivery of BGC Niagara programs Supervise and instruct participants as scheduled Assist with organizing, developing, documenting and implementing BGC Niagara programs Record attendance of participants Maintain accurate records with respect to program delivery Prepare and distribute participant evaluations
