Wage:

Starting at $17.85/hour, based on experience and program


The Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver (JCCGV) is currently seeking creative, energetic, and passionate sports instructors to lead and facilitate afternoon, evening, and weekend programs for children and youth (ages 3+).


You are an experienced coach with a passion for working with children and youth.

Priority program areas include:

soccer basketball floor hockey capoiera martial arts children's games volleyball gymnastics

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and lead program sessions (with support from the Children and Youth Coordinator) Identify and request necessary supplies Set up and clean up Create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants Communicate with parents and guardians as needed Attend JCC staff training sessions as required

Qualifications:

Experience working with children and youth Reliable, communicative, and professional Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable Comfortable communicating with families First Aid certification is an asset Criminal record check is mandatory

Schedule & Hours:

Most programming runs between

3:00pm-7:00pm on weekdays

and

Sunday daytime hours

, though additional times may be available depending on program needs.

All programming is held

in person at the JCCGV

, located in Vancouver.
