Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Worker to help improve the lives of children in shelter though positive activities both within and outaide the shelter. This position can be flexible to benefit you and the children as out numbers vary. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and creating a safe, nurturing environment for their growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care to children in a safe and compassionate manner
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate the children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children and any concerns that may arise
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care
Qualifications:
- Enjoy working with children to improve their experience
- Ability to engage with children
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively
