Job Requirements:
Must have a valid
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification
.
Must have
experience working with children
in a childcare setting.
Candidate must be currently living in Alberta
, Canada. In Edmonton and St.Albert area.
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
Duties:
Educate and engage children in a variety of age-appropriate activities that support their development.
Provide attentive caregiving to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children under your supervision.
Create and maintain a structured classroom environment that fosters creativity, learning, and positive behavior.
Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, rest periods, and other daily routines.
Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience working with children in a licensed childcare or early learning setting.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles, safety regulations, and developmental milestones.
Strong caregiving and multitasking abilities with a calm and patient demeanor.
Ability to create and implement fun, educational, and engaging activities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build strong relationships with children and families.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
