Childcare worker

Care for Newcomers just happens to have an exciting opportunity for you!

We're looking for a resourceful, fun and high energy individual to join our Childcare Program to:

Work during weekdays from 8:45am to 3:15pm Starting January 5th to June 30th, 2026, based on the program needs. Hourly rate is $22
A little about what you bring to Care for Newcomers:

Demonstrated sensitivity to children and understanding of the challenges faced by newcomers to Canada Early Childhood Educator Certification Level 1. You have a first aid and CPR certification appropriate to children. Clean Criminal record and Vulnerable sector check TB test administered Good interpersonal and communication skills to be able to develop and maintain rapport with parents
A little about what you'll do:

Monitor the children's behavior and intervene as needed Prepare the room appropriately before the children arrive Supervise the children's daily activities and routines Ensure the kids are safe and comfortable while in our childcare facility Communicate with parents about any specifics related to their children
