Program Coordinator / Masjid AdministrationJob Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and enthusiastic
Child Program Supervisor
to lead and supervise children (ages 4-12) duringTaraweeh prayers
at the masjid. This role involves engaging children instructured activities
, includingarts and crafts, sports, and supervised play
, while ensuring asafe and respectful environment
that aligns with Islamic values.Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Safety:
Ensure the well-being and safety of all children in the program, maintaining asecure and positive
atmosphere.Engaging Activities:
Plan and lead age-appropriatearts and crafts, interactive games, and light sports activities
to keep children engaged.Behavior Management:
Encouragepositive behavior
and conflict resolution, ensuring that childrenrespect program rules and each other
.Communication:
Work collaboratively withparents, volunteers, and masjid administration
to ensure smooth operations.Setup & Cleanup:
Prepare the activity area before the program begins and clean up afterward to maintain atidy and organized
space.Qualifications & Skills:
Experience working with children in
educational, recreational, or childcare
settings. Strongleadership and organizational
skills. Ability to managegroups of children
effectively while maintaining discipline and engagement. Understanding ofIslamic values and etiquette
, ensuring activities align with the masjid environment.CPR/First Aid certification
(preferred). Patience,enthusiasm
, and a positive attitude!Work Schedule & Compensation:
