Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the development and well-being of children in our after school care program. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment, fostering growth through educational activities and attentive caregiving. This role is vital in helping children reach developmental milestones while ensuring their safety and happiness throughout their time with us.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor children during various activities, ensuring their safety at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities that promote learning and social skills Assist with daily routines Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for children Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual requirements Foster positive behavior and social interactions among children in your care

Requirements

Prior experience working with children, particularly in classroom or caregiving settings Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmental stages ideal Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Strong teaching skills to facilitate learning through play and structured activities Compassionate caregiving attitude with excellent patience and communication skills Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children Certification in CPR/First Aid Clear Criminal Record Check Minimum of Responsible Adult Course required, can be obtained on the job. ECEA, BI, SEA, EA, ECE etc ideal Reliable, responsible, and committed to supporting children's growth and well-being
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
