Job Summary

We are a younge family with 2 children aged 5 (girl) and 7 (boy). We are looking for a younge, energetic and fun child helper.

It is important that the right person has exceptional organization skills. Your duties will include organizing all children's playrooms, rooms and toys. You must come up with creative ways to keep toys, crafts, books organized and rotated appropriately to keep kids engaged.

You will also spend time doing fun activities with kids. Bike rides, rollerblading, watching them swim, arts and crafts, baking, lego, math, reading, etc.

You must be a Canadian citizen and have good english skills.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and individualized care.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive and responsive caregiving to children in a home and outdoor setting. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Supervise children during playtime, meals, and other activities to ensure safety and well-being. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating home environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Observe and assess children's development, documenting milestones and areas for improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience in early childhood education or caregiving roles is highly desirable. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children of all backgrounds.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 36 per week
