Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. This role involves nurturing and supervising children in a safe and engaging environment, fostering their development through structured activities and play. Duties

Supervise and engage children in daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development. Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, including diaper changes, feeding, and nap time supervision. Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a supportive team environment. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual requirements.

Experience

Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or as a nanny/babysitter is highly desirable. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones is essential. Experience working with students or individuals with disabilities is a plus. Familiarity with first aid practices is preferred; certification may be required. Classroom management skills are beneficial for maintaining an orderly environment conducive to learning. A background in teaching or caregiving will enhance your ability to connect with children effectively.
