Job Description
EMU School Age Centre Inc., located in Ecole Margaret-Underhill in Transcona, is hiring a fulltime Child Care Assistant (CCA) to work a
split shift
of7:00am - 9:30 am & 2:30 - 6:00pm
Monday through Friday. The eligible candidate must also be available to work an 8 hour shift (straight through), on all RETSD/EMU in-services and breaks, including during the summer.Eligible candidates must have/be:
a CCA classification from province of Manitoba good written and verbal communication skills reliable, punctual, highly motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible open to learning about the child care profession display a high level of professionalism able to work independently and in collaboration with other staff nurturing and caring
All successful candidates will be required to obtain:
a Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Search certificate Child Abuse Registry Check first aid and CPR level C Accessibility training Commit 2 kids training an eligible 40-hour child care training course (completed within the first year of employment)
