Job Description
Tiger Stripes Learning Center is a licensed before and after school childcare program for school age children located at Ross Elementary.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, patient, caring individual who loves working with children.
Our before and after school childcare assistants work with children 5-12 years old in our before and after school care program.
They help implement all aspects of the program and supervise children.
A childcare assistant in our before and after school setting will need to be open to working split shifts, they will work some mornings 7:15am-9:15am , and some afternoons 3-5pm or 2:45-5:45pm, both morning and afternoon shifts are required for this position( 4-12 hours on average). Start date the week of January 12, 2026 for training, start date may be flexible. This LOCATION IS NOT ON A BUS ROUTE
.Qualifications: Must be 19 years of age or older
The following are an asset but not mandatory as we are willing to help the right applicant complete the required qualifications
20 hours of responsible adult training, or training in a related field- ie: Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Care, Etc
First Aid training - Community Care or First Aid C
Willing to obtain a criminal record check (paid for by us)
