We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and guiding children and young individuals in various settings, including educational environments and community programs. Duties

Provide direct support to children and youth in individual settings. Assist children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their unique needs. Foster positive relationships with youth by being a reliable mentor and role model. Facilitate recreational activities that encourage teamwork, cooperation, and social skills. Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to create a supportive network for youth. Monitor progress and provide feedback on the development of social skills, emotional well-being, and academic performance. Maintain a safe environment by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols. Work with individuals with behavioral and complex needs Make sure that behavioral strategies are being implemented Respond to to crisis situations using de-escalation technique's Collaborate with other team members and external agencies to support individual

Experience

Previous experience working with children or youth is required. Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively educate and engage with youth. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. A genuine passion for helping young people reach their full potential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$43,680.00 per year
