Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Child & Youth Worker to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and youth. The successful candidate will work with children and youth to provide support, guidance, and mentorship in a variety of settings.

Duties

Develop and implement educational programs tailored to the needs of children, focusing on both academic and life skills. Provide one-on-one support to children with disabilities, helping them navigate daily challenges and achieve their personal goals. Facilitate group activities that promote teamwork, communication, and social interaction among peers. Monitor the progress of children participants and provide feedback to parents or guardians regarding their development. Collaborate with other professionals, such as educators and counselors, to ensure a holistic approach to each child's growth. Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress for reporting purposes. Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed about best practices in youth work.

Skills

Previous experience working with children and youth in a supportive role is preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (must be able to drive and provide transportation as required). Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting children and youth. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.

Hours:

Flexible part-time hours. Must be available to work evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
