- A personal caregiver is required during the week (8am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays) to provide personal care services for 2 children, boys. One aged 8 and the other is 3 years old, nonverbal with ASD. While previous experience would be helpful, it is not a requirement
- Bathe, dress and feed 3 year old as the 8 year old is pretty much very independent.
- Oversee kid\'s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer
- Instruct both kids in personal hygiene and social development
- Tend to the emotional well-being of the child.
- Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents
- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
- Plan, prepare and serve meals for the boys and may perform light housekeeping duties
- Take the boys to and from school and to their medical appointments and all intervention therapy during the week.
- Maintain a healthy environment in the home
- Observe child and prepare reports for school and to the intervention group.
- May be required to keep records of daily activities and health information of the child.
- Driver\'s license is an asset.
