As a Child Development instructor, you will be responsible for designing and planning and age-appropriate instruction in recreational pre-school and after school care programs. Provides high quality care and supervision of children registered in the programs. Primary duties include:
Plan and implement meaningful program activities and complete comprehensive lesson plans.
Provide leadership in a variety of educational and recreational activities to program participants.
Ensure safety and appropriate supervision of program participants. May also require food preparation.
Preparation and maintenance of equipment, supplies and program space.
Maintain program records and assist with program evaluation.
Provide positive role model leadership and coaching to volunteers and new staff as required.
