Job Summary

As a Child Care Worker, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and guiding young minds in a safe and stimulating environment. Your passion for childhood development will shine as you engage with children, fostering their growth through creative activities and structured learning. You'll be instrumental in providing care for toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their well-being while promoting social skills and emotional intelligence.

What you'll do

Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Provide attentive care for children, including infant care and toddler care, ensuring their safety at all times. Support children with special needs by utilizing behavior management techniques tailored to individual requirements. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning including classroom cleaning duties end of shift each day. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education. Stay current on best practices in early childhood education through ongoing training and professional development.

Basic qualifications

Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

First aid certification or willingness to obtain it. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education backgrounds. Rece Certificate in Good Standing. Background in teaching or caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting.
