Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children, as well as providing support to their developmental needs. The Childcare Provider will work closely with children, fostering their growth through structured activities and play.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with children in a classroom setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Provide caregiving support, including assistance with meals, hygiene, and daily routines. Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and any concerns to communicate with parents or guardians effectively. Create a positive environment that encourages social interaction and emotional growth among children. Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a clean and organized classroom space. Educate children on basic life skills, social norms, and personal responsibility through interactive play.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a caregiving or educational capacity is preferred. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively with individuals of varying abilities, including those with disabilities. Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude and the ability to create a supportive learning environment. Flexibility to adapt activities based on children's needs and interests.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$19.50 per hour
