'Na?mg?is Education Department is seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join the Early Childhood Development Team. This role provides a safe, nurturing environment for children aged 2-6 years, supporting their social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and cultural growth. The position is

28 hours per week, Monday to Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, implement, and document daily activities that support all areas of child development. Follow a daily schedule that balances indoor/outdoor, active/quiet, and individual/group activities. Supervise children at all times. Document progress and report behavior or other issues to the supervisor. Collaborate effectively with the team, providing support and sharing ideas. Ensure a safe and healthy environment, administering first aid and following Duty to Report requirements. Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious snacks. Attend staff meetings and workshops to stay current on childcare trends. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Early Childhood Education Certificate preferred, or completion of at least one ECE course. Child Safe First Aid or equivalent. Food Safe certification preferred. Minimum of

1 year experience

working with children under six. Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record check required. Physically and emotionally able to work with children (doctor's note may be required).

Salary:

$38,056-$44,099 annually
