Duties

Provide a positive, safe and nurturing environment for children in playschool and after school care. Work respectfully with others Assist with toilet training Build positive connection with families Follow child care regulations Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols

Experience

Level one or higher in the ECE field is a must Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices Ability to engage and interact with children of various ages Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children

Skills:

Ability to provide support for the child in an Out of School Care setting. Experience with Children: Previous experience working with children, understanding their developmental needs, and providing appropriate care is an asset. Early Childhood Education: Knowledge of early childhood education principles, theories, and best practices. Caregiving: Ability to provide nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional needs are met. Quick on your feet Good at reading non verbal cues
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour

Secondary School (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
