BGC Wolf Creek is seeking a Child Care Program Assistant (Level 1, 2 or 3) for our

Rimbey

location. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children 5-12 and dedicated to creating a safe and caring environment. This position will start the last week of August.

Qualifications:

??Minimum 16 years of age ??Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check ??Valid First Aid/CPR certification ??Previous experience working with children is preferred
Primary Responsibilities:

??Engage with children in a supportive and nurturing manner ??Ensure programs are operating smoothly through interactive supervision ??Assist the Coordinator/Manager in completing documentation as required ??Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of facilities ??Demonstrate a proactive, appropriate and positive approach to behaviour management issues and conflict resolution situations. ??Assist in program development and ensure compliance with licensing regulations ??Provide leadership to the program when the Program Coordinator is not present
Hours:

??Sept to June 20-25 hours a week ??Schedule subject to change ??July and August hours TBD ??8:00AM-6:00PM PD day (every other Friday) ??2:45PM-6:00PM Monday to Friday
Remuneration:

$16.00/hr
*In addition to the hourly rate, there is a government top-up program for those that have their Level 1-3 child care certification.
