What will you be doing?

As a

Preschool Sport Coach

, you will ensure that all children are engaged, motivated and having fun while laying the groundwork for them to explore the world of sports. Responsibilities include:


Developing lesson plans and leading preschool sport classes including tee ball, soccer, lacrosse, as well as multi-sport classes. Teaching fundamentals of sports: throwing, kicking, running, jumping, hopping and catching. Communicating with diverse groups of children and other staff. Conducting group lessons for children ages 2 - 5 years. Engaging, encouraging and motivating children to reach their goals. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be certified in Early Childhood Education - Level 1, 2, or 3

Must have experience with a variety of sports

Must be able to work split shift (9AM-11AM) & (2:30PM-4:30PM)

Access to a reliable vehicle and a driver's license as travel is a requirement

Must meet province requirements for childcare employment

Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR

Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
