Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while supporting their growth and development. The Childcare Provider will work closely with children of various ages, ensuring their well-being and providing educational activities that foster learning and creativity.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all children. Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the individual needs of each child. Provide caregiving support, including feeding, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other childcare staff to ensure a cohesive approach to child development. Maintain accurate records of children's activities, attendance, and any incidents that occur during care. Support children with challenges by adapting activities to meet their specific needs.

Requirements

Experience in early childhood education or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of classroom management techniques and child development principles. Ability to educate children through engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Previous caregiving experience is highly desirable. Experience working with children who have challenges is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and colleagues. A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their well-being.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.64-$26.68 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday
